Jegan Tharmaraj is the founder of Fulfill A Wish and leads the Mumbai and Tamil Nadu chapter of the project as well. He could not stop himself from fulfilling wishes of children in Mumbai, the city where he dwells and runs many campaigns from, for the betterment of educational facilities. He describes his reasons for fulfilling wishes:

"It is heartening to see the potential of these children. They are bright growing individuals capable of achieving anything. However, financial restraints curb their aspirations and affect their faith in themselves. More than monetary help what these kids need is encouragement. Fulfill A Wish by matching wishes of such kids instills a positive outlook in them towards life.

Another interesting aspect of this campaign is that it allows the donor to meet the children. It is all together a different feeling when you meet them and match their wishes."
